My Year-End Thank You List

I started making a list like this last year and hope it will be a tradition for many years to come. On a day-to-day basis, my work can feel lonely, and often I forget to celebrate that I’m making any progress. So, I’m trying to do better at noticing positive interactions and support from others.

This post is my heartfelt thank you to all the amazing people who have helped and supported my writing and business activities during 2019.

It’s inevitable I’m forgetting someone here, and I’ll make small edits as I realize this. And naturally this post can’t do justice to close friends and family who once again, completely inexplicably, have put up with me for another 365 days.

I’m excited for 2020 and hope to return the lovely karma I’ve enjoyed this year. Tentative travel plans include New Mexico, Montreal, and the UK, so if you’re in those regions and we only know each other online, let’s plan a cup of tea.

What a lovely thing to do, Pauline! You are inspiring me to do a thank you post of my own! It’s been such a pleasure meeting up with you and chatting through our plans and ideas. Thank you for all your wonderful help and generous support this year! Not only have I enjoyed our meetings, both in real life and online, they’ve been rewarding and inspiring and have made a real difference to what I do.

The year has flown, Pauline. And your idea of a year-end thank-you post is so YOU. Your thoughtfulness knows no bounds. Wishing you a wonderful 2020. And thank YOU!

It was a lovely surprise to read this post and see my name among the people you wanted to thank.

As Jean said above: “Your thoughtfulness knows no bounds”.
It’s a wonderful thing to do, even just to pause, before the year goes away, and feel gratitude.

And with this occasion, I have to thank you too, Pauline. You’re always there, when I need your help or just a friendly chat. That means a lot.
