Clutter

New mini course: Your Clutter Persona

I’m pleased to announce that my new mini course, Your Clutter Persona, is now available. It’s a 5-part email course which aims to move away from the one-size-fits-all advice which seems so common in the area of decluttering and organizing. And it’s free!

Free mini course: Your Clutter Persona

Would you like to understand how your personality and preferences contribute to muddle in your home? We’re all individuals and not everyone shares the same inclinations about how much stuff to own, and where and how to store it.  As we embark on decluttering projects, that’s an individual process too. The choices and tactics which work for you won’t necessarily work well for somebody else. This course aims to guide you through that.

5 lessons

I developed this course in 5 easy to consume email lessons. Each lesson asks you two or three questions about your preferences and then recommends specific actions based on your answers.

Lesson 1: Overbuying, returning purchases, and item-specific weaknesses.

Lesson 2: Functional versus stylish storage.

Lesson 3: Your preferred pace, and whether you should work solo or in partnership with someone else.

Lesson 4: Hanging and folding!

Lesson 5: Saying goodbye to clutter; selling versus donating, and fear of mistakes.

What’s included

The course includes 5 short videos, a scoresheet for your answers, and individual clutter prescriptions which you can save on a Pinterest board as a clutter-free reminder of your best tactics. The material and assignments should take you no more than 10 or 15 minutes each day.

I’m really proud of the Your Clutter Persona mini course and I’d love for you to give it a try. Do let me know what you think!
