Serenity Tip: Gaze at the Moon

Friday posts are shorter and sweeter, bringing you a quick serenity tip and some inspiration for the weekend. This one’s a reminder to pause and reflect, both during your daily routine and especially in the evening before you try to go to sleep:

Serenity tip: make time to pause. Gazing at the moon is a great way to relax and gain perspective.

Before yesterday, it had been months since I peered properly at the moon. How about you? It’s just about full at the moment, so tonight, and the weekend, would be a great opportunity to look for a break in the clouds. Sky-gazing inevitably reminds me how small I am and how insignificant my problems actually are. I’d love to know if you get the same sense of perspective.

On Monday, I’ll be wrapping up my first topic, Treasure Your Twilight, and inviting you to get involved in the second of twenty-six themes.

I am so excited about this Serenity Project. I bought a spa blanket filled with lavender to honor my commitment to rest more peacefully. It’s made of soft, nubby fabric and has an insert filled with lavender. Two minutes in the microwave warms the blanket and fills my senses with beautiful fragrance.

I love the Serenity Project and am so grateful to you, Pauline, for designing this program for us. I’ve told all my friends on Facebook.

I look forward to a wonderful 2017 where I “glide more and flap less!”

Cheers to you. And thank you.

Thank you so much for the kind cheer-leading! Your lavender blankie(?) sounds wonderful. I’m pretty sure a future topic will be “build your serenity kit” so you’re ahead of the game, Julie. And huge thanks for spreading the word.
